Bar Bender and Steel Fixer is the task to identify types of bars, read drawings and prepare schedules, fabricate using hand and power tools, store transport and fix reinforcement in position in formwork in readiness for concrete pours. Should strictly Practice safety norms and precautions. The worker must work in a team and should understand the use of various tools. The test will be taken by the expert from Nepal and Malaysia.

For test Worker must be able to

1. Read and understand routine drawings/sketches and Bar Bending Schedule
2. Use hand and power tools for cutting and bending of reinforcement
3. Prepare fabricate, place and fix reinforcement for R.C.C structures
4. Work effectively in a team to deliver desired results at the workplace
5. Plan and organize work to meet expected outcomes
6. Work according to personal health, safety and environment protocol at construction site

This program is aimed at training candidates for the job of a Mason Tiling, in the Construction Sector/Industry   and aims at building the following key competencies amongst the learner. Tile and marble setters are responsible for installing hard tiles, wood, and marble in homes and offices. They determine the tile or marble pattern layout, cut and shape the tiles to size, and expertly install flooring fixtures using hand and machine tools.

For test Worker must be able to

 Lay and fix tiles both horizontally and vertically on wall, floor and roof surfaces.

1. Apply grouts and sealants for flooring and cladding works.

3. Carry out waterproofing work for structures using cementitious materials
4. Build structures using random rubble masonry Carry out IPS /Tremix flooring works

6. Plan and organize work to meet expected outcomes
7. Work according to personal health, safety and environment  protocol at construction site

Bricklayers build houses, repair walls and chimneys and refurbish decorative stonework. They also work on restoration projects. They measure work areas and set out the first rows of bricks or blocks. They mix mortor by hand or with a mechanical mixer. Bricklayers shape and trim bricks using hammers, chisels and power tools. They check that rows are straight using a spirit level, laser level or plumb line.

Shuttering Carpenter – System is responsible for making shutters and assembling system formwork for R.C.C structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, foundations and other similar structures. The individual should have good knowledge of safe working practices. The individual is expected to be physically fit and should be able to work across various location and height withstanding extreme condition while working. The individual should be organized, diligent, methodical, and able to implement and maintain safety practices.

 For test Worker must be able to

1. Make shutters used in shuttering carpentry
2. Assemble and dismantle system formwork for RCC structures
3. Carry out quality check for shuttering works
4. Work effectively in a team to deliver desired results at the workplace
5. Plan and organize work to meet expected outcomes
